Radio & Weasel Deny Involvement in Bebe Cool Shooting
Music duo Mowzey Radio and Weasel denied allegations that they were involved in the shooting of Bebe Cool at Centenary Park, New Vision reported on Feb. 12th.
Before a police officer shot Bebe Cool four times in his legs on Jan. 30th, he had gotten into a skirmish with Mowzey Radio and Goodlyfe’s Jeff Kiwanuka. The officer says that when he couldn’t defuse the situation, he opened fire on Bebe Cool, his bodyguard, a fellow police officer, and Bebe Cool’s nephew.
Bebe Cool is the son of politician Jaberi Bidandi Sali, who called on the Inspector General of Police, Kale Kayihura, for an explanation. Earlier this month, Kayihura visited Bebe Cool in the hospital, and said he regretted the shooting. New Vision reported the story on Feb. 2nd.
The muscician says he was shot by the police officer after a disagreement with both Mowzey Radio and Weasel in the park after the R. Kelly concert.
