Bebe Cool Recovering After Wednesday’s Car Flip
Bebe Cool and his wife Zuena Kirema remain in stable condition after their car flipped several times on the Kampala-Gulu Highway last Wednesday, New Vision reported. The two are recuperating in Bukoto at Kadic Hospital. Kirema had external cuts on her forehead after the crash, and suffered from neck pain. Bebe Cool did not suffer any major injuries, even though their car turned several times.
Bebe Cool and Zuena are recovering after their car flipped several times last Wednesday, in a crash in Nakasongola district.
“My neck and back are aching. I’m feeling dizzy and weak, but the doctors said I didn’t sustain any internal injuries,” Kirema told the Daily Monitor, in their story on May 21st.
After a performance in Lira, the car’s back tire burst in Nakasongola district. An amublance rushed the two to a nearby clinic.
The two had been Lira, urging those in northern Uganda to participate in the voter registration for next year’s elections.
2010 has been difficult for Bebe Cool, who was shot in the legs by a police officer during a misunderstanding in January. The artist had to be rushed to the Nsambya hospital after an officer shot him at Nakumatt, a 24-hour shopping center in Kampala, the night of R. Kelly’s concert in Uganda with Zain.
Police inspector general Kale Kayihura apologized to the musician over the incident, and visited him in the hospital in February. The officer accused of shooting Cool was attached to the Jinja Road police station.
