Ugandan Women Demonstrate For Free Elections

Ingrid Turinawe, chairperson of the FDC women league, led demonstrators at the Statehouse on Friday, calling for fair elections and for EC chairperson Badru Kiggundu to step down.
Ugandan women took to Statehouse in Nakasero on Friday to demonstrate for fair elections, after nationwide protests on Tuesday. 62 female demonstrators were arrested on Tuesday, and 60 were released on police bond on Wednesday.
