East African crafts made by women in Uganda and Rwanda.

Join Ugandans Abroad this Friday at a showcase this Friday promoting handmade crafts by Rwandan and Ugandan women.

Held at Cafe Nunez International Food House, at 240 West 35th street, New York, NY 10017, the August 13th event will begin at 6:30 p.m. and run until late.

Money raised at the showcase will support Rwandan and Ugandan women living with HIV and/or coping with gender-based violence.

A $25 cover charge will give you the opportunity to support these East African women, enjoy hors d’ouerves and take part in a one-hour open bar, from 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Please RSVP by Thursday, August 12th, to event organizers Harriet at 347.224.7821, or Mary at 240.490.0593.  The event is sponsored by Ugandan Merchandise.
